University of California at Berkeley
Berkeley, CA

August 22, 2001
10:00 am - 04:30 pm

Recent advances in linear matrix inequality and convex optimization have lent novel insights into problems in optimization, controls, communications and signal processing. This special symposium will celebrate the contributions of Laurent El Ghaoui, and highlight the recent trends and results, presented by leading researchers in diverse areas such as optimization, hybrid controls, information theory, and others.

In this special symposium we invite the leading experts in optimization and controls for a one-day seminar at UC Berkeley.
